T.S. Eliot, born on September 26, 1888, on idea-incubation and the mystical quality of creativity
By @kinamotngabuhat “Ate Helen stays at home to take care of her grandchild because the parents are away working in another city. In their village and the towns nearby, there are no jobs for them. She has 3 kids, the youngest just graduated from high school but doesn’t think she can ever go to college. They both worry about it.
Danika is Kinamot nga Buhat’s designer and also the creator of the Haiyan Unity Bracelet series. She teaches Ate Helen to weave the bracelets. Ate Helen says it’s tough twisting the wire as perfectly as how Danika does it and keeps on asking her what her magic trick is, with which she responds, “Practice. It’s all just practice. You’ll get used to it.” She nods and goes on trying again. #haiyanunitybracelet #kadasig #kinamot #handmade #socialenterprise #sustainable #laborfair #tacloban #leyte #philippines” via @PhotoRepost_app || So proud of my sister <3
